Beavertown Neck Oil Keg Hire
Beavertown’s 4.3% session IPA on tap. We supply 30L kegs (about 52 pints) with an S-Type coupler, CO2 and flash cooling for weddings, garden parties and craft-led bars.
Wedding or party with 80 adults or more in England or Wales? We can bring a fully staffed cash bar for £150 instead. Guests pay at the bar and there is no minimum spend.
Beavertown Neck Oil keg specifications
Neck Oil is a 4.3% session IPA, not a big hop-bomb. Extra pale malt keeps it light, then late hops and a dry-hop charge give tropical and citrus notes without the 6%+ hangover. Trade kegs are 30L on an S-Type Sankey coupler.

A session IPA, not a house lager
People hire Neck Oil when the room already drinks craft and a Carling tap would look wrong. It still needs a cold, clean lager-style pour. Warm IPA tastes grassy and the hops collapse.
Gas is CO2, not 70/30 stout mix. The coupler is S-Type, so it can sit next to most lagers and ciders on the same hardware family. If guests named Guinness as well, that keg needs its own U-Type head and 70/30 gas.
Do you need a cooler?
Yes for marquees and function rooms. Neck Oil at cellar temperature tastes dull. A flash cooler on a 13-amp socket holds 4–6°C from keg to glass.

How we pour Neck Oil
A tight IPA pour. Cold glass, full tap, short collar. Do not treat it like a stout.
Cold glass
A warm or wet glass knocks the citrus aroma straight off.
Full tap
Open fully. A half-open tap shears the beer and builds foam.
45° then upright
Fill at 45 degrees, then straighten for a short white collar.
Serve promptly
The hop note fades if the pint sits on the bar.
How it works
A straightforward hire, from first enquiry through to collection.
Tell us the brief
Send the date, venue and guest numbers, and whether Neck Oil is the only tap or part of a mixed bar.
We spec the kit
We confirm the 30L keg, S-Type coupler and CO2 before anything leaves the warehouse.
Delivery and setup
We deliver, connect the lines and pull the first pints so the system is pouring correctly.
Collection
After the event we collect the keg, gas and cooler. Any unused keg that is still sealed at collection is refunded in full.

Coverage and logistics
We deliver from the Midlands across the areas we cover, including Leicestershire, the wider East Midlands and the Cotswolds. Neck Oil is a frequent ask for wedding bars and garden parties where guests want a craft IPA they can drink all afternoon.
A second tap is often a lager or cider. Start from keg hire if you want a mixed bar, or see other craft kegs.
