Common questions about our glass hire service

As a general rule, allow 2-3 glasses per guest for a drinks reception and 3-4 glasses per guest for a full evening event. For sit-down meals, allow one of each type (wine, water, champagne) per person. We're happy to advise based on your specific event — just tell us your numbers and drinks menu when you enquire.

No. Simply rinse off any remaining liquid and repack them in the crates provided. Our team handles all professional cleaning back at our facility. We do ask that any broken glasses are reported so we can account for them.

We deliver glassware across the UK, with free delivery available within our core service areas including the Midlands, London, Manchester, Bristol, and other major cities. Delivery charges may apply for more remote locations — contact us for a quote specific to your venue.

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May-September). For large events (200+ guests) or specific glassware requirements, earlier booking is advisable to ensure availability.

Accidental breakage is normal at events. We include a small breakage allowance in our hire as standard. For breakages beyond this allowance, a modest replacement charge applies. We'll let you know the specific terms when you book — it's all transparent and fair.

Absolutely. Our glass hire service is available standalone — you don't need to book a bar or any other service from us. Many customers hire glassware for self-catered events, house parties, or to supplement their venue's stock.
