Guinness Keg Hire for Weddings, Parties & Events
Hire Guinness on tap for your wedding, party or office event. Choose keg-only supply or a complete keg-and-tap setup with cooling and gas. Available in 30L and 50L sizes.
Tell us your event date, delivery postcode and whether you need equipment. We’ll help you choose a suitable setup and provide a quote.
Wedding or party with 80 adults or more in England or Wales? We can bring a fully staffed cash bar for £150 instead. Guests pay at the bar and there is no minimum spend.

Two options. Both use a 30L or 50L Guinness keg. Gas and cooling are only on the complete setup.

The figure depends on keg size, kit, dates and the delivery postcode. We do not publish a single national starting price on this page.
Enquire about a full setupHire duration
Standard hire is one week, with collection at the end of that period. Longer hire can be agreed on the quote. December packages on Christmas keg hire use a two-week hire.
VAT
The quote sets out the hire total and whether VAT applies. Corporate bookings are quoted ex VAT, with a VAT invoice.
Delivery
Delivery and collection are quoted against your postcode. Christmas keg packages list delivery as a separate charge.
This page is part of keg hire. Other brands sit on that hub rather than on this Guinness page.

These are the details that decide the quote and whether a keg-only drop-off or a full setup is the right job.
How it works
- Send the date, delivery postcode, keg size (or “not sure”) and keg-only or full setup.
- We confirm stock and quote the hire, VAT treatment and delivery.
- We deliver. Full setups are installed and checked before we leave.
- We collect at the end of the hire and refund any unused sealed kegs.
Guinness keg specifications
Choose a 30L or 50L keg. The coupler and gas mix stay the same on both sizes. They are included only on the complete keg-and-tap setup.
| Specification | Details |
|---|---|
| Keg size | Choose a 30L or 50L keg |
| Pint count | About 52 pints (30L) or 88 pints (50L) |
| Coupler | U-Type |
| Gas | 70/30 mixed gas (70% nitrogen, 30% CO2). Included on the complete setup only. |
| ABV | 4.2% |
Keg-only customers must already have a U-Type coupler, 70/30 gas and cooling. We do not send CO2 in place of 70/30 for Guinness.

How to pour Guinness
Full setups include a short demonstration. The two-part pour is the usual method.
- Hold the glass at 45 degrees and pull the tap fully forward.
- Fill to about three-quarters, then stop.
- Let the surge settle before you top up.
- Push the handle backward to finish the head just proud of the rim.
