Birra Moretti Keg Hire
A fuller Italian lager than Peroni, hired for weddings, food-led events, office parties and Christmas keg hire. We supply 30L and 50L Birra Moretti kegs with an S-Type coupler, CO2 and flash cooling.
Booking for Christmas? See Christmas keg hire.
Wedding or party with 80 adults or more in England or Wales? We can bring a fully staffed cash bar for £150 instead. Guests pay at the bar and there is no minimum spend.
Birra Moretti keg specifications
Birra Moretti is 4.6% and slightly fuller than Peroni. People pick it when the food is Italian, or when they want an Italian lager that is not as dry as Nastro Azzurro. The coupler is the same S-Type, so the two can share a bar if you have two taps.

Moretti versus Peroni on the same bar
Peroni is drier and 5.1%. Moretti is 4.6% with a rounder malt note. If you only have one lager tap, choose based on the crowd: Peroni for a sharper premium pint, Moretti when food is a bigger part of the night.
Both need CO2, an S-Type coupler and cold lines. Do not run either on stout gas. If the venue already has S-Type taps, dry hire is possible; we still recommend a cooler if there is no cellar. Moretti is also the lager we suggest when the food is the point of the night: pizza, pasta or a long grazing table, rather than a stand-up drinks reception.
Do you need a cooler?
Yes for marquees and function rooms. Moretti loses its clean finish as soon as it warms. A flash cooler on a 13-amp socket is the usual setup. Cellared venues can discuss dry hire.
Moretti works year-round: weddings and food events through the summer, office parties and Christmas keg packages from November onwards. See corporate event bar hire for staffed office setups.

How we pour Birra Moretti
Same cold lager method as other European pilsners. The difference is the beer, not a special ritual.
Cold, clean glass
A warm glass is the fastest way to a restless pint.
Full tap at 45°
Open fully, then straighten the glass for the last third.
Short head
A small white collar. If it keeps growing, check temperature before touching the regulator.
Serve with food
Moretti is often the lager on a pizza, pasta or grazing-table bar. Keep a second tap free if you also want cider.
How it works
A straightforward hire, from first enquiry through to collection.
Tell us the brief
Send the date, venue and guest numbers, plus whether you want Birra Moretti on its own or as part of a wider keg hire bar.
We spec the kit
We confirm keg size, the correct coupler and the right gas before anything leaves the warehouse.
Delivery and setup
We deliver, connect the lines and run the first pints so the system is pouring correctly.
Collection
After the event we collect the keg, gas and cooler. Any unused keg that is still sealed at collection is refunded in full.
