Peroni Keg Hire
Italian lager

Peroni Keg Hire

Ice-cold Italian lager on tap for weddings, parties, office events and Christmas keg hire. We supply 30L and 50L Peroni kegs with the S-Type coupler, CO2 and a flash cooler so it pours crisp rather than foamy.

Booking for Christmas? See Christmas keg hire.

Wedding or party with 80 adults or more in England or Wales? We can bring a fully staffed cash bar for £150 instead. Guests pay at the bar and there is no minimum spend.

Peroni keg specifications

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a 5.1% lager. It needs a tight, cold pour. If the gas, coupler or line temperature is wrong you get a tall head and a short keg. We match the kit to this beer before it leaves us.

Specification Details
Keg size 30L or 50L
Pint count About 52 pints (30L) or 88 pints (50L)
Coupler Type S-Type
Gas required CO2
ABV 5.1%
Best served Cold (3–5°C)

Why Peroni foams if the setup is wrong

Peroni is served colder than a cellar ale and it is lively in the line. Warm beer or an S-Type coupler that is not seated properly dumps foam into the glass and wastes the first few pints.

Full setups include a flash cooler that chills the beer as it travels from keg to tap, plus CO2 set for a lager rather than a stout mix. If you already have lines in the venue, tell us the coupler type so we do not send a G-Type by mistake. See our keg coupler guide if you are hiring dry.

Do you need a cooler?

Yes, unless the venue has a cellar and glycol already running. Peroni at 3–5°C is the difference between a clean Italian lager and a cloudy, restless pint. The cooler sits on a table or bar, runs from a standard 13-amp socket, and is ready to pour once it has pulled the lines down to temperature.

Peroni works year-round: weddings and parties through the summer, office events and Christmas keg packages from November onwards. See corporate event bar hire for staffed office setups.

A clean lager pour

How we pour Peroni

No two-part stout ritual. The job is a cold glass, a full tap throw and a tight white collar.

Cold glass

Start with a clean, dry glass. A warm or wet glass knocks Peroni out of condition immediately.

45° then upright

Open the tap fully, fill at 45 degrees, then straighten the glass for the last third.

Tight collar

Aim for a finger of foam. If the head keeps climbing, the beer is warm or the pressure needs a tweak.

Serve at once

Peroni is a drink-now lager. Do not let it sit in the glass while the next guest waits.

How it works

A straightforward hire, from first enquiry through to collection.

Step 1

Tell us the brief

Send the date, venue and guest numbers, plus whether you want Peroni on its own or as part of a wider keg hire bar.

Step 2

We spec the kit

We confirm keg size, the correct coupler and the right gas before anything leaves the warehouse.

Step 3

Delivery and setup

We deliver, connect the lines and run the first pints so the system is pouring correctly.

Step 4

Collection

After the event we collect the keg, gas and cooler. Any unused keg that is still sealed at collection is refunded in full.

Coverage and logistics

We work from the Midlands and deliver Peroni kegs to weddings, marquees and offices across the areas we cover. Access, power and how far the keg has to be carried all affect the quote.

See areas we cover for local pages, or start with the main keg hire service if you need more than one brand on the bar. Glass hire can be added if the venue is not supplying pint glasses.

Hire packages

Prices depend on keg size, location and date. We quote each event rather than listing a flat national rate.

Peroni keg hire FAQs

Peroni runs on CO2. We supply the bottle and regulator with a full setup. Do not use a 70/30 stout mix on this lager.

Peroni uses an S-Type coupler. That is not the G-Type used on Carling, or the U-Type used on Guinness. Dry-hire customers should check the venue tap before we deliver.

A 30L keg is about 52 pints and a 50L keg about 88, depending on head size. Use our keg size guide if you are planning guest numbers.

It is a common choice when the brief is a premium lager rather than a standard pint. It sits well next to Birra Moretti if you want two Italian options, or Guinness if you need a stout tap as well.

Two to three weeks is comfortable. Summer Saturdays and bank holidays go first, so send the date as soon as it is firm.

Yes. Any unused keg that is still sealed at collection is refunded in full. Once a keg has been tapped, it cannot be refunded.
