Leffe, like other Belgian abbey beers, requires a specific "60/40" gas mix (60% Nitrogen, 40% CO2) to achieve its characteristic creamy head and smooth texture. We strictly supply 60/40 gas with all Leffe hires. Using standard CO2 would result in excessive foam and alter the beer's intended flavour profile.
