Heineken Keg Hire
Dutch lager on tap for festivals, staff parties and public events. We supply 30L and 50L Heineken kegs with an S-Type coupler, the correct gas and a flash cooler so it stays cold when the bar is busy.
Wedding or party with 80 adults or more in England or Wales? We can bring a fully staffed cash bar for £150 instead. Guests pay at the bar and there is no minimum spend.
Heineken keg specifications
Heineken is a 5.0% lager that a lot of guests already know. It is a practical festival and corporate choice because it drinks cleanly and the coupler is the common European S-Type. Volume and cooling matter more than ritual.

Gas for Heineken: CO2 or 60/40
Heineken can run on straight CO2 or a 60/40 mix (60% CO2, 40% nitrogen). We choose based on line length and how hard the bar will be pulled. We do not put 70/30 stout gas on Heineken. That mix is for Guinness and Murphy's.
On a festival weekend the risk is warm beer in the afternoon, not the wrong glass. We size coolers and spare gas for the session length you give us, and we can add a second tap if you are also running Carling or a cider.
Do you need a cooler?
For outdoor and day-long events, yes. Heineken in a sunny marquee without a cooler will blow foam by mid-afternoon. The flash cooler keeps the pour at 3–5°C from a 13-amp socket. Indoor venues with a working cellar can sometimes take dry hire instead.

How we pour Heineken
This is a volume lager pour. Speed and temperature matter more than a ceremonial head.
Check the first pint
We pull a test pint after setup. If it is wild, we adjust pressure before guests arrive.
Full tap
Open the tap fully. Short, nervous pulls waste beer on a busy festival bar.
Keep the cooler on
Do not switch the cooler off between rushes. Heineken warms quickly in the line.
Watch the gas
A dying bottle is the usual reason a good setup suddenly turns to foam.
How it works
A straightforward hire, from first enquiry through to collection.
Tell us the brief
Send the date, venue and guest numbers, plus whether you want Heineken on its own or as part of a wider keg hire bar.
We spec the kit
We confirm keg size, the correct coupler and the right gas before anything leaves the warehouse.
Delivery and setup
We deliver, connect the lines and run the first pints so the system is pouring correctly.
Collection
After the event we collect the keg, gas and cooler. Any unused keg that is still sealed at collection is refunded in full.
Coverage and logistics
Heineken hire is often part of a larger festival bar or corporate bar, not a single kitchen tap. We deliver from the Midlands and will tell you honestly if access or distance changes the job.
Browse coverage areas or the main keg hire page if you need more than one brand. Keg sizes help you judge 30L versus 50L against guest numbers.
Hire packages
Prices depend on keg size, location and date. We quote each event rather than listing a flat national rate.
